Susan Hopkins will be teaching Dr. Bill Hamon's Ministering Spiritual Gifts Course over five weeks this September and October.
Susan Hopkins is called a "Prophet who teaches and Teacher who prophesies." As a graduate of the Hocking Valley School of the Bible in Nelsonville, OH, Susan was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel, and after additional training and mentoring, as Prophet. In addition, Susan has served as Praise and Worship Leader, Teacher, and Elder in the local church body. She has established, trained and led Prophetic Presbytery teams. In 1995 and 1999, Susan made mission trips to the country of Belize, Central America to teach and release the prophetic.
Susan and her husband, Sherman, have a passion to teach and activate the prophetic. Her life scripture is Ephesians 4: 11 & 12, "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…"

Ministering Spiritual Gifts Course Description
There is a cry in the Church today for greater participation in God's prophetic purposes. Saints are not satisfied with the "status-quo." There is an intense desire within them to be trained and activated into their membership ministries. The Army of the Lord is arising, and the Commander-in-Chief, Jesus Christ, is beckoning His troops to be adequately trained in their gifts. Because of this hunger in the hearts of God's people, Dr. Bill Hamon formulated the Ministering Spiritual Gifts course. Its purpose is not only to share vital, scriptural teachings concerning the gifts of the spirit and prophetic praise, but to also advance God's people out of the realm of theory and bring them into a living, experiential reality of God's supernatural graces. Church leadership in this hour has a great responsibility to lead and guide God's people into present truth and release every believer into their God-ordained place of service with proper spiritual training. This course is not only for those who want to "hear" the Word, but for those who desire to be "doers of the Word."
Each seminar includes:
- Anointed Biblical instruction in the proper use of spiritual gifts
- Hands-on experience ministering to others
- A safe, non-threatening environment for you to grow
- A greater impartation and release of God’s Spirit through you whether you are a beginner or a veteran.
The course is scheduled over 6 weeks: March 25, April 1, 15, 22, 29 and May 6 2012 in the Abundant Life Church sanctuary located at 9365 Hooper Rd., Athens, OH , starting at 6:00 pm.
Preregistration will begin March 9th. An application is available on line or from Abundant Life Church. The course cost is $25.00 which covers the cost of the MSG workbook.
