Nancy Haney of Point To Hope in Nikisi, Alaska, ministries ministered on October 18 and 19, 2008. She testified about things happening in China and India, spoke about our being a house built for the Lord, about our role in revival, and about not doubting the Lord.

Good Works' Friday Night Life Dinner.
What a blessing it was to serve at the Friday Night Life supper for Good Works on October 10, 2008. In partnership with the First Christian Church, we fed, fellowshipped, prayed for, and ministered to a gymnasium full of wonderful people. Many thanks to Kathy Van Dyke and all of those who volunteered, and to the Lord for this opportunity to share the love of God!

Pastor Craig Watson.
Pastors Craig and Janet Watson are the founders of Eagle Christian Ministries, based in the City of Durban on the East Coast of South Africa. Pastor Craig leads a two-fold life as he is both a full time Minister of the Word of God and runs a successful International Logistics Business. The Spirit of God is using Pastor Craig in ministry and business, [particularly entrepreneurs] to Exhort, Motivate and Encourage individuals, to develop into their full Godly potential both spiritually and in all other spheres of Life. He has been instumental in Mobilizing the Body of Christ in a number of large International conferences in the City of Durban.
Pastors Craig and Janet and their three children, Caleb, Joshua and Sarah-Lee are living examples and testimonies of the goodness of God in serving His kingdom.

Evangelist Tim Sutton.
Evangelist Tim Sutton blew his trumpet and ministered powerfully on July 13, 2008. He encouraged us to seize opportunities to share the good news of Jesus with people we come into contact with.
Brother Tim shared several examples, including one demonstrating the critical importance of prompt obedience to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. He awakened early one morning to walk. As Brother Tim drove to his walking trail, the Lord spoke to his heart and directed him to a gas station. He was told a woman would come across his path, and that he was to tell her that God loves her. As Brother Tim was filling his tank in the early morning darkness, a woman walked in front of his car. The Lord told him, "That’s her!" Brother Tim told the woman that God loves her. The result – she prayed and received the Lord, and was saved!! Had Brother Tim not seized the opportunity, who knows whether that woman would have ever taken that life-changing step.

Praise and Worship Flag Workshop.
On Saturday, June 28th, at 1:00 PM at Abundant Life Church, Judie Teagarden taught the Scriptural basis for flags and banners in praise and worship, as well as in warfare. Participants learned not only scriptures, but what different flag colors represent. There are many reasons to use a flag or banner, so as part of the teaching participants learned the why's, where's, when's, what's and how's . There was a demonstration of how to use the different types of weapons, or instruments as Judie often call them, and the various types of music with which to use them. Judie also gave interested participants hands-on training for how to use flags.

Rev. Van Crouch ministered at Abundant Life on June 22, 2008. He taught ten steps to a victorious Christian life:
- Be a worshiper.
- Make the Word of God and prayer a priority. Plan your schedule around it.
- Guard your relationships – there can be a transference of spirits from those with whom we associate.
- Be quick to forgive. "It’s hard to get ahead when you’re getting even."
- Be a soul winner. "See it big, keep it simple."
- Obey God in giving.
- Don’t skip church.
- Submit only to proven ministries.
- Avoid a critical spirit.
- Be willing to do balanced spiritual warfare.

Marty Copeland ministered powerfully at Abundant Life Church on April 13, 2008. We were challenged to develop the Fruit of the Spirit within us, especially faithfulness, endurance, and self-control. In her anointed messages, she challenged us to move and not be sedentary, because we are called to move as the Spirit of God is always moving. She brought our attention to Genesis 1:29, where the Lord gave us fruits, vegetables, and legumes to eat, and while He also gave us fish, poultry, and beef to eat, the basis of our diet should be Genesis 1:29 foods. Sister Marty encouraged us from Joshua 1:8 to meditate in the Word day and night so we can observe – see – ourselves in the light of God’s Word, so that when we see ourselves as God sees us, then we will prosper and have good success.
Sister Marty has thrown down a challenge to individuals and churches. It’s a 90-day “From Faith to Fit” weight-loss challenge.
